La Jacksonmanía regresa tras año y medio de muerte y nueve de silencio

El primer single del álbum póstumo de Michael Jackson ya puede adquirirse

Un año y cinco meses después de la muerte de Michael Jackson (25 de junio de 2009), el artista vuelve a estar en la competición por alcanzar el número uno de las listas del pop en el mundo. Como ya se había anunciado, hoy se presenta y se pone a la venta digital el primer single del nuevo disco con canciones inéditas de Jackson. La canción se titula Hold My Hand, y el nuevo larga duración llevará el nombre de pila del artista fallecido. Michael.

'Hold my Hand', primer single de 'Michael'

Según reza en la página web del artista, Hold My Hand, es un dúo con Akon. Un tema que grabaron en 2007. "Según una nota escrita a mano por Michael Jackson, el artista expresa su deseo de que esta canción fuese el primer single de su siguiente proyecto. La canción se filtró en estado inacabado en 2008 y recientemente Akon completó la producción final". Hold my hand es un medio tiempo y sorprende que casi sea una canción desde el otro mundo. Una especie de premonición ya comercializada.

Akon es un cantante afroamericano de orígen senegalés especialista en hip-hop y R&B. En 2004 saltó a la fama con una canción llamada Locked up de su primer trabajo Trouble. Es conocido por cantar coros y ha colaborado en más de 175 canciones, 40 de ellas incluidos en el Billboard Hot 100. Cantó en la cancion benefica We Are The World 25 For Haiti.

"El mundo no estaba preparado para escuchar Hold My Hand cuando se filtró hace unos años. Fue devastador para nosotros", ha manifestado Akon, en una nota distribuida por la discográfica. "Pero ha llegado su tiempo y ahora, en su estado final, es una hermosa e increíble canción. Estoy absolutamente orgulloso de haber tenido la posibilidad de trabajar con Michael, uno de mis ídolos de siempre".

El 14 de diciembre se publicará Michael y supondrá el primer lanzamiento de material nuevo del cantante en nueve años. Sin embargo no estará exento de polémica. Con el anuncio de este nuevo trabajo se dio a conocer la canción Breaking News y los familiares del cantante se apresuraron a poner en duda que fuera él quien cantaba en esa canción quejándose amargamente de que la disquera se había negado en redondo a dejarles escuchar el trabajo antes de su lanzamiento.
